Ask specific questions as part of your neighbourhood project — via the app, a link or on paper. The responses will be collated on the map and in your report.

Photos and movement data show what people see and how they move. Sometimes you want more: a clear view on the school route, the square or parking pressure. With Dorple, you can ask that question within the same project — so that the answer doesn’t get lost in a separate survey, but forms part of your spatial planning dossier.

Not yet another survey, but a conversation with the neighbourhood

Traditional surveys are often disconnected from the local context. Dorple questionnaires are tailored to your project area. Residents answer the questions with an understanding of their neighbourhood; you can see what they say alongside the photos they take and their experiences as they go about their day. In this way, public participation becomes not just a one-off survey, but an ongoing snapshot of what is happening on the ground.

How open or closed would you like the survey to be?

Not every survey asks the neighbourhood the same questions. In Dorple, you can set this for each questionnaire wie mag antwoorden:

Project members only — the questionnaire appears in the Dorple app for those already taking part in your project. Suitable if you want to survey a committed core group, without involving the wider public.
Anonymous — anyone with the link (or a paper form) can complete it, without an account and without a code. Easy to use for an open survey in the neighbourhood.
With a mandatory respondent code — only those with a valid, one-off code can submit their responses. Ideal for a sample survey or door-to-door survey: you prevent duplicate responses without linking names or email addresses.

This means that whatever form the survey takes — from a closed members’ consultation to an anonymous neighbourhood survey or a controlled sample — it will always form part of the same Dorple project.

App, link or paper — anyone can take part

Not everyone uses the app. That’s why you can reach people in three ways — all via Dorple, without needing a separate survey tool, Excel or scanning software:
In the Dorple app — for those already taking part in the project
Via a public link — which you share in Dorple; to be completed in the browser, without an account
On paper — print forms and import scans into the partner portal, for home visits, residents’ evenings or a stand in the neighbourhood

Whether someone responds digitally or on paper, everything is included in the same results overview in Dorple.

Make it once, use it again

Do you have the same questions across several neighbourhoods or in a subsequent phase? Create the questionnaire once and apply it to other projects — or to an entire programme in one go. This makes it easier to compare results; there’s no need to retype anything.

Ready for the meeting and the city council

Results are available in the partner portal: clearly organised by question, ready to share. You can export them as a PDF report, along with participation figures, map views and — if you wish — an AI project summary. The narrative remains your team’s; Dorple keeps the responses alongside the rest of the project documentation.

From random opinions to well-founded choices

This means you no longer need to use a separate survey tool alongside Dorple. The neighbourhood provides feedback where it matters most; you can view the results in the same file as photos, traces and analysis. Less fragmentation, faster progress from question to insight.
