Photo Analysis

Dorple automatically analyses images at the level of each individual photo: themes such as green spaces and climate, mobility, safety or heritage, along with structured descriptions and tags that you can search through in the gallery. A local shares a moment from the neighbourhood; you receive a notification that you can post immediately and compare with other locations.

When it comes to mobility and usage, it goes one step further. Movements are converted into hexagons on the map, grouped by time slot and only visible where there are enough different participants in the same cell — a privacy safeguard against identification. This allows you to see where activity and experience converge, as a pattern across the neighbourhood, rather than as tracking of individuals. This layer complements the photos and ideas with a dynamic picture: how the space is used and experienced as people move through it.

At project level, Dorple produces an AI summary where necessary, which looks beyond individual items. This draws on participation figures, contributions from the local community, route insights, streets and squares within the project area, maps and relevant project documents. The result is not a spreadsheet, but a high-quality dossier: what the area looks like, how slow traffic flows there, how residents are involved, and what key findings emerge from the data. This summary can be included in PDF reports alongside participation statistics, questionnaire results and — where desired — details for each contribution.
