Build better cities with measurable community input

Better cities are built on insights from the people who live there every day. Dorple collects geolocated contributions from residents — photos of places and building facades, ideas, suggestions for improvement and routes with brief comments — and discusses them in a project feed. Partners can view everything on the map, in overviews and in exported data: aggregated and privacy-conscious, intended to inform decisions, not to track individuals.

Based on real preferences, not assumptions

Find out what people really value
With Dorple, residents gather feedback directly in their neighbourhood via the app on their smartphone. They take a photo, pin the location on the map and choose what they want to share: a building façade to show the structure, an area in need of improvement, or a place of significance that is important to them. Each contribution is linked to a location within the defined project zone, so that as a partner you not only hear what’s on people’s minds, but also see where it’s happening.
The barrier to entry remains low — no lengthy forms or compulsory meetings — whilst the input is structured and useful for policy and design. Where necessary, the app helps to identify the type of contribution based on the photo; residents always retain control over what is shared.
This way, you get a continuous stream of location-specific feedback from the local community itself, rather than a one-off opinion from a small, self-selected group.

Participation doesn’t have to be a process that takes months. With Dorple, residents can make a contribution in just a few minutes: a photo, a location, a brief description — all from their smartphone, whenever it suits them.

From community input to project insight

AI on photos, Pulse on the map, project-level summary.

Dorple does more than just collect feedback. The platform analyses, categorises and interprets participation data so that partners can make informed decisions more quickly.

Dorple enhances photos using AI, displays mobility data as privacy-conscious patterns on a map (Pulse), and can generate an AI project summary and a PDF report.

Manage and analyse data with the Dorple Partner Portal

Quick and easy insight

From a single interface, you can map out the project area, invite participants and keep track of what’s happening in the neighbourhood. All contributions — from building facades and areas for improvement to ideas and places of significance — are brought together in a gallery and on the map, where you can view the details and discussion for each item.
You manage members and invitations, encourage participation through challenges and questionnaires, and set reflection or route questions where necessary.

Privacy & trust

Privacy-first, AVG-bewust

Dorple is designed to facilitate participation on a large scale, not to track individuals. Residents give their explicit consent before location data is used, for example when recording a trace. They can shield their homes and other sensitive locations with privacy zones, and can choose in the Flow settings not to include their traces in aggregated partner statistics.

For local authorities and consultancy firms, Dorple primarily provides aggregated, non-traceable insights: you see patterns on the map and in reports, not individual movement profiles as a commercial product. Account details and contributions are processed securely; how we handle personal data and location data is set out in our privacy policy. This allows residents to participate freely, whilst partners can still make informed decisions — with trust on both sides.

The proof is in the pudding!
